What, exactly, does Bighound do?
Bighound finds where your household’s personal information is exposed, shows you exactly how to get it taken down, and watches for it coming back.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”- Finds. Searches people-search brokers, checks your email addresses against breach corpora, sweeps the open web, and looks for public accounts tied to your usernames.
- Sorts. Scores every result so namesakes don’t drown the real ones, and tells you which fields matched so you can check our work.
- Explains. For each broker listing, shows what that site’s removal form asks for, filled in from your own record, one tap to copy.
- Warns. Flags brokers whose own “removal” route is a funnel, and removal companies with documented ties to the brokers they claim to remove you from.
- Watches. Re-scans compare against last time, so a listing that reappears is flagged as re-listed and counted.
What it doesn’t do
Section titled “What it doesn’t do”- It doesn’t submit removals for you. See is Bighound automated?
- It doesn’t remove you from breaches. Nothing can.
- It doesn’t touch court records, news articles, or government sites. Those aren’t broker listings and mostly can’t be removed — nor should a private company be able to make public records disappear on request.

Who it’s for
Section titled “Who it’s for”Households, not individuals. Your exposure is entangled with the people you live with — brokers publish relatives, shared addresses and household composition, so removing only yourself leaves most of the picture intact.
It’s invitation-only, deliberately. This is a small project and we’d rather serve a few people properly.
