That’s worth saying plainly, because the paid services in this market treat DIY instructions as a premium feature. One competitor’s dashboard has a “DIY” column blurred out until you subscribe — instructions for doing something free, sold back to you.

The manual process

1. Search the broker for your name and city
2. Find your listing and copy its URL
3. Find their opt-out page — usually in the footer, often called “Privacy”, “Do Not Sell My Info”, or “Opt Out”
4. Paste the listing URL, give an email, confirm from that email
5. Wait a few days, check whether it’s gone
6. Check again in three months, because it will probably be back
