Your message is relayed to us and not stored — there’s no database table for support mail, so there’s nothing to leak later and no retention policy to get wrong. If the relay fails you’ll be told, rather than the message quietly disappearing.

We reply from a real address, so you can just answer that email once we’re talking.

Publishing an address on a public page is handing it to every scraper that walks the site, and we’d rather not turn our own inbox into a spam target. It’s the same reason your address ends up on people-search sites: something published it once, and it never came back.
